I just downloaded iBrickr and was trying to use it with my iPod touch. The iBrickr message said it was going to load some files and that if it took longer than ten minutes, restart the iPod and iBrickr. When I restarted my iPod, it started scrolling through crazy text that looks kind of like command prompts or something, and after a minute it reboots itself and starts the text scrolling again. iBrickr won't recognize that the iPod is hooked up to the computer; neither will iTunes.

I have tried restarting both the iPod and the computer, and I just don't know what to do.

    Please help!

Yeah it will, you can't brick iPods unless you physically drop a brick on them.

    Thanks

Thanks for the tip. It worked. Now I just re-jailbroke my iPod. What's a good program to mod the iTouch that works with 1.1.5, and where can I get it?

    Thanks again!

But I would highly recommend you upgrade to 2.1 and use QuickPwn or Pwnage/WinPwn.

No. Do not use ZiPhone. Ever. Use iLiberty+. It puts a LOT less stress on your hardware (ZiPhone sends too much information in the first phase of your ramdisk).

But I highly recommend upgrading to 2.x, since it's a lot better anyway.
