iBoot related problem :D i guess some kinda brickish thingy

    Hey everyone,

    As in this post i was asking for a way to change the iBoot file. And i did. but i didn't realise that i've copied the wrong file the 2.2.1 iBoot file untill the device didin't boot up.

    and now windows says the usual "USB not recognized" message. And i cant manage to put my ipod in DFU mode. ı know, seems n00by but plz i need this ipod (i cant live without it) any help will be rewarded with BIGG chunks of chocolate. (Terms and Conditions may apply.)

    Try it on a Mac... they usually have more support for Apple devices.

    Try DFU when its plugged in to your computer.. even if its not recognized.. to be put in DFU, there needs to be a cable plugged into it.

    If you can figure out how to get it in DFU, plug it in.

    Also, plug it in, and do the steps in this video: (just go along with it)

    k thx! ill try it out.

    EDIT**

    Not even mac recognized the ipod. Now im thinking of some other way. i think the device doesnt goes to the DFU mode. or im just doing it wrong.
