Does anyone know if an app like iBluetooth will be available for the iPod touch 2g now that it has Bluetooth, the origional iBluetooth does not work for 3.0 at all, does the Bluetooth for the iPod touch 2g respond in the same way as the iPhones Bluetooth, is it possible?

    probably, but it's unknown.

3.0 is new, not everyone jumped in on the developer program to get it so it's going to take some time for new apps and updates to old ones to come out. We're all going to have to wait and see what comes, but Im sure there will be many great new programs to play with and enhance our daily lives.

Thanks for the helpfull reply, I just hope that the Bluetooth chip in the 2g works the same as the one in the iPhone and developing it will be easier than starting from scratch.

iBluetooth will support the ipod touch 2g in the next version.
But it will need a while before release.

The nice thing is that people are creative. So if it doesn't there is still a chance you will see some type of hack to allow file transfers and other things, but it's going to take some time and there are no guarantees. It'll be big news around here when and if it happens so just watch.

According to the developer right now, it doesn't support the 3.0 OS and neither does the ipod touch 2g. So we just have to wait...here is the main website if you want to do your own checking...
