Hey guys, I decided to take a whack at compiling the source code for the new iBluetooth revision, and so far my progress is as follows:

*Downloaded the source code from the repository and familiarized myself with it.

    Complete

    *Downloaded Cygwin

    Complete

    *Installed Cygwin

    Stopped

**Chris Stroud has successfully compiled the iBluetooth Source Code and is preparing the app for release**

    Go Chris!

Such as? I have almost no idea what I'm doing, so I'm basically fumbling around with it. I figured someone should at least try.

There really isn't a need for a new thread for fumbling. Cygwin probably isn't where you'll be compiling this anyway, I would say the native toolchain would be the place to start. On 2.x, anyway.

Really? There's a build.sh file included, so I assumed that we were supposed to compile it using Cygwin/an equivalent. Thats what the readme led me to believe, anyway.

I haven't looked at it, but it would need to be ran on the iPhone with the native toolchain installed. Otherwise you will get nothing but errors because of a lot of misconfiguration of your Cygwin Environment.

Ill try compiling it on Cygwin (as soon as it finishes installing, it takes FOREVER) and if it doesnt work out, ill look into going native.

Are you working on anything to activate bluetooth? I would love to send files w/o a wireless network.
