iOS 4.0 iAd Privacy Fail!!

    Wow. So Apple profiles you and serves you ads based upon your age, your gender, your location, your ethnicity, education and income. Just wow. I wonder how they get all that information. Some of this info is obviously stored in your iTunes account, but I'm perplexed that they're bothering to find out even more about you. Android probably does something like this too, but still, SERIOUSLY...
    BTW: This is NOT a fake. It's a class dump I got from one of the early iOS 4 betas. The release/GM version looks a lot more "innocent," probably because Apple figured it would be safer to do all the creepy stuff on their servers, since they can access your iTunes account more reliably from there:

    I don't think it's a bad thing that they advertise using those information. I think it would be better, because the ad will probably interest us more. Odd the support article only talks about opting out, not the other way around.
