What do you think of this laptop?
i think it looks awesome.
Im also talking about tech spec wise
It seems really good.
Coincidentally, I've played with this. Its very good for the price, however the trackpad is terrible (texture) and the entire body is plastic. It doesn't feel 'cheap' but it may dent/break easily.
If those don't bother you much, go for it. It's great for the price.
I wont be traveling with it, so what do you think of the screen size, its a little small to me.
My sisters laptop is made of plastic, also made by HP. Its in the dv6 series
I was also looking for a new laptop, so far this seems like one of my favorites. I don't really care with what it's made of because I'm always super careful. As for the trackpad, I prefer a mouse anyways (weird?). But thanks for posting this m0in! I just found a laptop I 'might' get.
HP makes some good laptops. I love their Mini series of netbooks. If you are easy with it, it'll be fine. You may want to buy a mouse, but that may not be necessary as you may like the trackpad. It's kind of a preference thing.
As far as the screen size, I almost always prefer the smaller sizes. I find 12-15 inches to be the perfect size for me and my uses (email, writing, web browsing, some gaming here and there, and some light photo editing for said writing).
Anyways, I really like HP and what they do. If you are willing to splurge a little, you could look into this (HP link here). It is more expensive, but god, I love the looks of it. I'm trying to decide if I'll actually get one. Even the base $999.99 configuration is a beast, and a huge step up from my current laptop.
Anyways, just my random thoughts Please Register or Log in to view images

But this one is available in my club
Looks great! And the mobile Phenom Iis are amazing.
The graphics aren't too shabby either.
