Much easier method = Installer -> Tweaks -> Max volume increase

By deafult, the package you're talking about isn't on installer. I can't find it

First of all downgrade your 1.1.2 software to 1.1.1 theres probably some threads here who handle that subject. then install installer(www.jailbreakme.com on your ipod and scroll down to install appsnapp, must be 1.1.1!), go to this thread http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8180 and install these sources, once you have done that, the Volume Amplifier must be in the tweaks section of your installer.
