After I updated my 1st gen Ipod touch to the 3.0 any time a video is playing the volume bar does not show up. When I tap the screen only the pause/play and ff/r show up. Since it is a first gen I do not have any way to change the volume besides quitting the movie, going to the music and changing the volume there.

Does anyone know how I can fix this so the volume bar shows up when I am watching videos?

Have you tried with headphones in? Stupid question, maybe, it could help. If you haven't, then plug in some headphones.

It does that when you have a dock connector in. Mine messed up the other day and it thought i still had the dock connector thing in. Just had to plug it in and unplug.
