I think I was a little too rough in replacing the LCD screen, because when it was fully replaced and I started my iPod Touch up I smelled burning motherboard. Not my favorite smell. Okay so I start it up and it works PERFECT I'm so happy to have a new screen blah freaking blah blah. Then I go to slide my unlock button over and GUESS WHAT. NO touch screen. So I open it up AGAIN and look inside and I guess one of the little slivers that was connected snapped off when I was using the Safe Open tool or whatever the little thing on the opposite side of the wifi on the top. The little thin thing snapped. I THINK. So any idea on ANYTHING that I can do now?

I took a quick snapshot off it, see the gold part that I'm pushing up with my finger, I think I snapped that.

    P.S. I'm f***ing pissed.

I bought this iPod the second the released it, so don't come at me with that crap. My warranty expired and I ain't paying a freakin 2/3 of the price to get it fixed. Anyone who actually wants to help instead of getting his post count up? Thanks.

How do you know I wasn't just trying to get up my post count? You don't. You could have just saved the money to get the repair. How did not taking it to apple go for you?

I bet that repair price is looking pretty good now.. especially if you may need to buy a new iPod. Anyways, I recommend bringing it Apple to see what is actually wrong with it, and to see if there is actually a possibility of fixing it.
