So yeah, I deleted categories, and everything works nor did I delete all of my app's. But there is an empty categories folder still on my spring board, when I hold my finger on it so i can delete it no X shows up in the corner. I'v just been hiding it using sbsettings so its out of the way and everything, but I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into this.

Well, it might have stayed there because you didn't delete it with Categories.

if you want to delete a folder
open up categories, then edit, then delete the folder

if you want to delete categories itself, then open cydia, click manage, click packages, click categories, click modify, click remove

I would have deleted it before i removed categories all together, however; this folder would not show up in the list of folders so i was not able to push edit and delete it.
