The first day is the keynote where Apple tells everyone upcoming projects and products. The other days are like a giant convention where developers and companies have booths and showoff products, upcoming products, and apple engineers hold sessions on various things. Nothing is usually newsworthy.

    It is.

The keynote was on the 8th. The rest of the days are for dev's. Educational purposes learning about coding on the mac.

    (something like that)

    Damn, ninja'd

well if you've noticed apple isn't much into changing the designs recently. same mini design for years. same mac pro design for years and imac like you said hasn't changed. the iphone didn't change design recently and they still have the plastic macbook with the same design from 3 years ago. also the ipod classic has been the same since version 5.5 as long as you dont include the aluminum cover as huge design change.

Apple has gone through a few design 'eras' over the past.
    -Original, generic beige colours
-Pinstripe (see CRT iMacs & G3 Powermacs)
-White/Plastic (Current Macbook, iBook, iPod <5G, G5 iMac)
-Aluminium (Current Macbook Pro, iMac, iPod Classic)

We're still in the last one. I'd say no major changes for around 5-8 years.
I they've stopped manufacturing the white MacBooks. They're just unloading all their stock now (hence the dirt-cheap price).
