I recently upgraded to 3.0 and jailbroke, and my Notes app is acting screwy. Some of my notes can be viewed, but their titles in the opening page list don't match the contents. Some of the notes can't be accessed at all; opening them causes Notes to close. I can't add or delete any notes either.

Can I somehow view the .db file that I can access using iPhoneBrowser? Is there a way to retrieve the data? HELP!

  2. People actually use notes? Sorry for your loss bro, but I don't think you can salvage the data if it is corrupt, especially without some GUI.

Don't know how the file got corrupted, but I was able to get the .db file using iPhoneBrowser, open it using Windows Notepad and retrieve the data. It wasn't important that I get it back into my iPod, just retrieve the data. I deleted the .db file from my iPod and now my Notes app works fine. Whew!
