For a couple months now my home button has not functioned correctly and just this past week it has lost all functionality which made me decide to restore the firmware in itunes and try to fix it. But to my surprise when i connect it in itunes i get the error that says "pairing record is missing". so now i cant restore in itunes, or iliberty, or ziphone b/c itunes will not connect with it. I also cannot force restart since my home button does not work. AND i cannot bring it to an apple store since it is jailbroken... Any help would be great!!

go into ziphone and there's a panel at the bottom labeled advanced features and under there, there is the 'enter DFU mode' click that

i tried that but it says

"There's a connection problem with your phone. Usually this happens if drivers are not correctly installed, iTunes is behaving incorrectly etc.

First make sure iTunes have detected the phone. Eventually try to change USB port - if it doesn't help restart your computer. Last restort - reinstall iTunes.

Check output log for error detail"

    the output log says

    "Failed: (0) Pairing Issue."

i tried 2 computers and 2 usb cords and multiple usb ports

Try reinstalling iTunes on one of the computers.
Have you tried entering DFU mode manually?

Are you able to put it into restore mode manually. If so, put it in that and take it to Apple...

try to brick your itouch, and tell apple that your itouch can't turn on, and they'll give you a new one for free.

install an app that makes a hovering home button (don't remember the name). Use that to enter restore.
If that doesn't work, keep the app, then install open ssh. then try to find the command to enter dfu
