I think my battery is dead!!!

    Ahhh! My ipod wont hold a charge! is there any other way i could fix this without replaceing my battery? Has this happened to anyone here? How much did you pay to replace it and how long did it take?

    Your going to have to have the battery replaced. Its normal.

    damn. i wish it would charge to more than 5%then die ugh

    Restoring might help, but probably not.

    Looks like your Touch is done, unless you get it fixed. Might as well wait till the 3rd gen, though.

    A challenger approache... Its a zune HD! i was looking into them and if they eventually come out with an appstore i think i'll get one.

    Wait till the battery dies and then sent it to Apple.
    Or even better! When on 5 start restoring then the battery dies while restoring and then you say:
    I was upgrading to 3.0.1 and my iPod died!!! It was connected to the PC/Mac but I don't think it charged the battery! I thought I had some battery issues but never thought it would die so fast! and so on.
    This will make sure that they will have to change your battery and the SSD because you bricked your iPod so they will never know it was JBed or they will give you a new one.

    thats all well and good as long as you dont say you tried to put 3.0.1 on your ipod
    its only got an sms update for that exploit thing that was supposed to happen a while ago
