So I was trying to jailbreak and I was on the last couple steps and it said there was no iPod in recovery or DFU mode.

Now nothing happens when I plug in my ipod to the computer, itunes doesn't even acknowledge it.

    Help?

    Look here.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to brick your iPod during the jailbreak or boot process.

Follow the steps provided, and make sure you actually read it, rather than skimming over.

damn im sick and tired of people thinking they bricked! Your not bricked! Hold power and home for EXACTLY ten seconds than release power and keep holding home until you here your computer ring acknowledging our device is in (have ipod plugged in during this)

P.S. the only way you can really brick is if while your updating you unplug your iPod (even then i think its still possible to restore)

Timing doesn't matter, it when you hear the sound on the computer...
