I think iTunes found a new remedy..

    to not loosing your stuff without a back-up when you have to restore..I was installing iTunes while my iPhone was plugged-in, while installing my iPhone restarted and everything is the same as it was before being put into restore mode..

    My iPhone is now 1.1.3 but everything is still in it..it WAS 1.1.4...

    yeah same with me i jailbroke my ipod a few weks ago, didnt like it, so i restores and all of my notes, alarms, calendars even my stopwatch was running!!!!
