i think i might need some help

    ok so heres my problem... lets first start in how this happened... ok so i left my ipod so it could update it self then when i got back i got a message where it said that it fail to update.. so from that day on my ipod has been in recovery mode... when i plug my ipod to my pc i get the hardware installation window and fails to install ipod on recovery mode. also my ipod wont appear in itunes... n i cant use my ipod cuz i get the image where it says to connect it to itunes...

    That could mean your iPod is toast firmware wise. If it failed on an update like that it may have been a bad USB port or some process on your computer interupted it. That's the kind of thing apple will give you support with. Did you try to force a restore on it?

    you could try updating it on a different computer. maybe ask a friend.
