i sold my ipod touch

    i recently sold my old 1st gen ipod touch and got the new 3rd gen but when i sold my 1st gen i forgot to delete the itunes account that was on the ipod to download apps and i am wondering if there is a way from my home computer to take off my info off that ipod touch

    There MIGHT be a way, but that's the only way I can think of.

    All the person will have is your user ID. It wont be authorized for his machine, so they will have to wipe it anyways.

    well ive been getting the itunes receipt on my email from the things he have been downloading i am not really worried about it cause none of my credit card info is so theres no way he can buy anything on it so im not that worried but still would love to get that info off the ipod

    Well he obviously hasn't synced it, otherwise the data would have been wiped...

    and also I thought that every time you locked the ipod you had to re-enter your password to download something

    You have to enter the password every time and after 15 mins so he can't be using it to buy apps. Those emails from the App Store are always days behind.

    Perhaps you could email Apple... That would be a wise first step. Just email them, and tell them the situation; they might be able to do something.

    apple wont do anything cause he sold it if he lied maybe but apple isnt the type to help with something when they can get you to pay for mobileme
