i screwed up my ipod (with jailbreak)

    i don't know what i did, but i had everything you know cydia normal apps etc. then my ipod shut off. i tried the reboot process (un plugging then plugging back in) then putting into restore mode. now itunes won't recognize my ipod and when i try to ssh into it via terminal it says connection refused. help? thanks.

    That's not the reboot process. Get a boothelper (search, don't have one to hand) and follow the instructions. iTunes shouldn't recognize your iPod, hence it being a tethered JB - it won't work until you run the whole final part of the JB process again.

    Tl;dr, get a boothelper and follow the instructions.

    If you made it that far all you need to do is REALLY get it in DFU mode and run the last four steps of the process.
