I was ready to put PWN my iPod so I mistakenly put it into DFU mode instead of Recovery mode. I know I'm screwed. There is no hope. I must restore and then start all over. This sucks.

Unless someone has some miracle solution, but I doubt it.

DFU mode and Restore mode are the same thing aren't they?

Both are Plug to iTunes right?

Restore you can get out of without restoring

    DFU you need to restore

DFU is a more cleaner restore mode... and it doesnt show anything on the screen, thats basically it... if it reads it the same, then its the same...

I would go back to regular restore mode, as the instructions for Pwnage tell you to do. Don't want to risk anything.

Plus, you need to restore in iTunes to get out of DFU mode.

How were you even able to Pwn it in DFU. I put it in DFU once by mistake and Pwnage prompted me that it was and wouldn't run until I went into restore mode.

Well, to restore, install all music, videos, etc. Then whip out my handy dandy list of apps and install all those. By then, it will be an hour.

EDIT: Ok, just finished getting my iPod back to normal. 3 hours later.
