Personally I refuse to upgrade to 2.0 right away, just like when 1.1.3 came out, I stayed in 1.1.1 fer quite a while.

I was just wonderin' what other people were thinkin', what functionalities are too good to pass up to upgrade to 2.0?

Edit: To cover up any confusion, my post regards these apps THROUGH INSTALLER NOT PORTED WITH THE SDK

    Personally I won't upgrade to 2.0 'till:

    1. 2.0 is a free upgrade ( Like January Apps )
    2. 5 Icon Dock / Kate Get Cracked Properly
    3. gpsPhone gets ported
    4. Summerboard / Customize / Categories are fully stable
    5. the Jailbreak method becomes as stable as iLiberty+, exe

Now let's have everyone else post their requirements to upgrade to 2.0!

Personally, I'm not even close to excited fer the 2.0 software, 'cause I know fer a fact it'll take atleast a month 'till it's completely Jailbroken with all the apps ported >_<

Let's just hope that that's not the case...

from the looks of the 2.0 i have now, the final one should be sweet.

i will upgrade, and be happy as it is from apple, a jailbreak will just be a bonus.
I DONT plan on cracking appstore apps, cuz i know from experience that these people worked hard on their apps, and dont want them stolen.

i MAY pwn, but probably not. If i wish to go back to 1.1.4, i know how. So i'm safe

I will upgrade when there is Summerboard, thats pretty much the only app that I would love to keep

It aint commin. Since Summerboard Fudges with the core files, which is why the iPod Touch / iPhone is so buggy with it.

I will prolly just JB it the second I have the chance to see what new features there are and if i don't like it i will just downgrade back to a JB 1.1.4 till all the functions that I want are fully available like Summerboard, Customize, and we get a working appsnapp installer.

first of all, the january apps were included in the firmware. it was just a small .ipa file that was downloaded when you paid that activated the jan apps and wiggle feature.

secondly, gpsphone, summerboard, customize, all involve going into system files and that will not be allowed under apple's sdk rules, however there MAY in the future be a way to put em on firm 2.0, by bypassing the appstore and sshing em in. this goes the same for kate.

and with the jailbreak method, the dev team is working on(maybe already completed, idk)
