My Touch was running on 2.2.1, and jailbroken until last night. I finally got around to updating it to 3.0. I left it connected to the computer last night, and most of my apps werent there.

When it was jailbroken I had the apps that are now missing into folders using the Cydia-downloaded "Categories".

I decided today to reset my iPod to the original settings and then restore the settings. It just got done "putting the apps back on". It was "putting them back on" for 45 minutes, and when I turned it back on, the same apps are missing.

PLEASE tell me what I can do. I want this solved so I can begin liking my iPod again. WHY ARE MY APPS NOT THERE. I have literally spent close to $50 on games and apps.

    Thanks
    -J

Set it up as a new iPod.

    Don't restore it from anything.

If you sync, your appstore apps will come back with all your music and stuff.
