The Differences between Isos and Roms.

Do you covert Isos to roms for playing?

Because I see ISOs on sites for downloading but I dont know what you use them for...

    Any help would be appreciated,,,

psx uses disc images, in format like iso or bin, img and others.
iso gets name because it is a capture of the bits on a digital medium, suchas data discs or redbook CD-audio, which adhere to ISO specs. lookup`ISO` for more info

rom's are a collection of all the data on the ROm chip in the system (catridge/arcade systemslike gameboy, NES, MAME?) sometimes also floppy diskette are saved as ROM
