i pod 1s gen 16gb wont turn on.

    my friend ave me his ipod touch 16gb 1st gen to try and fix and he told me the charge was not working right only lasted about an hour. I pluged in the ipod to computer with a 2.o highspeed usb and it worked fine on m 2nd gen ipod I wana fix it by tomorrow hopefully! I don go in dfu it dont sart at all please help

    I have tried on 3 computers XP..Vista... and this mini XP lap top... post here or if want to ersonall help me on aim msn or yahoo messanger add me please might offer to pay u to help via pay pal for 50 usd so please help me

    Update: If i do the dfu mode thing with a flash wire after like 2 seconds the Crit battery icon shows up some times it stays for a like 10min but light off but can kinda see in backround.. But least i know its not 100% screwed... But after the aattery disapears it looks like its complety off and noting pops up in itunes or computer during this proccess.\

    edit: tried doing that agian now noting happensplease help

    It sounds like the battery's worn out. You could bring it to Apple and ask them to replace it for you, but it'll cost you.
