I Need To Know...

    i have had my iPod touch now for about 4 months.. two weeks before the 2nd gen. came out, and my first one bricked within the first week.. i have the insurance on it, but i want to know that if my iPod bricks again, will i get the new one or will i get the 1st gen. again?

    i got a 2g when my 1g broke and they upgraded me from an 8gb to a 16gb

    Your iPod wouldnt of been bricked.

    Wouldnt it make sense to get the 2nd Gen? (Apart from being more expensive)

    EDIT: Sorry, I thought you meant if you had to buy another one.

    I have talked to a few people who have had this happen and a couple of them got new 2g iPod Touchs so it is a possibility. Just try to talk the people (if it is from a retail store) into getting the 2g.
