What's the risk of jailbreaking when the 2G jailbreak comes out? Those of you with 1G jailbreak, has anything bad happened/any errors/delays? Help would be extremely appreciated. Help me decide if I should jailbreak my 2G when it comes out

There are no actual bad sides to jailbreaking, except maybe the lag. The lag is bad at first but it really isnt too bad. If you ever mess your ipod up, you can just restore it. No biggie. Yes you should JB, it is worth it.

there is literally no downside to jailbreaking, unless u actually try to brick it.

    It is amazing!
    Definitely jailbreak!

Here's a guide on how to choose:
1.Go to your local theater and see Yes Man.
2.Follow that philosophy for the next day.
3.Answer this question: Will you jailbreak it AND thank Keved for helping you?
I think I know what answer you will give.

For jailbreakers of 1Gs, if it just busted in the middle of something and you restored it, has the restoring method ever NOT worked? I just was making sure there's a way to refresh it if something happens.

Nope, people have even tried to brick their iPods by disconnecting during the process (among other things) and a restore has always worked.
