Before I came to this site I was pretty much 100% sure I wanted the touch. But after coming here it's kinda making me think that the ipod Touch isn't as good as I think it's going to be. Now I want your honest opinions on the touch. Apart from the new JB and the apps is it good for music? The only ipod I've ever had is the pink Nano and I love it, but I have a chance to get the touch and I need to know if I'm making a mistake.

I have never had anything Apple related until now with the iPod Touch 2g.

Music, Videos, Photos, Applications, and more! The possibilities are endless, especially with the imminent jailbreak. I play with it every day and I love it. My favorite new toy

Thank you all for your quick responses ^_^ You're makin me feel a lot better. ATM I'm still somewhat stuck between the touch (16gig) New nano(16gig) and the 120gig Classic. I hate making choices.

I was stuck on whether i should get the new nano or the ipod touch. I got the ipod touch and i definitely am happy with my choice. If your worried about which one you'd like more, get the touch. There's so much more you can do with it than any other ipod.

Well, I know that there's more options but I still mainly want it mostly for music and aaallll of that space on the classic sure sounds nice.

I think 16gb would be enough for all the music. Unless your one of those people who somehow find a way to get 4000 songs!!

If you have a lot of music and don't care about the apps than the classic probably would be best. I don't know if it plays videos or not (the classic). I think so...but anyways yes more options on ipod touch, more space for music on classic...hmm..kind of a decision you might need to make on your own. It's definitely a preference thing.

    Good luck with your decision.
