    My safari won't remember passwords.. I have used iconmander and have set the permissions of safari and cookies (var/library/system/safari) and set them to 777 for both cookies and safari.. There is no "safari fix" in cydia or installer forthe new 2.1 firmwares..

    This is very frustrating.. Can anyone help?

    Cookies are stored in /var/mobile/Library/Cookies. Set everything in that folder to 777.

    That path you read off is NOT the cookies folder. Also make sure the files inside are set +777 or make sure the file owner is Mobile, rather than Root.

    Code:
    chmod -R 775 /var/mobile/Library/Cookies && chown -R mobile:root /var/mobile/Library/Cookies
