Don't overload do one chapter a day and study that chapter. On the next day go onto the other chapter and skim through the previous. When you begin to get the hang of it google like simple python programs and watch some youtube tuts

I'm on the exact same boat as you. Getting into Development, but easing into programming w/ python.

I found A Byte of Python. It's specifically geared to those with no real programming experience.

    Getting through it…

I never actually tried this before, but try another programming language. I don't know what its like to not know anything about programming. Try learning some easy stuff like ObjC or VisualBasic. Try BASIC it is easy for beginners

@iBricked In this case, Python is the 'other programming language', as a step up to (Obj)C.

And in terms of my skill?

    Baby steps! ;p

With ObjC, iPhone Apps. It's not very easy to just dive right in. And with VB, you can make you own failbr3ak apps. That's pretty much all it's good for.

Its called learning you JUST do it to get the experience. Its not like I only learn one languaage and spend my whole life on it. Its like this.

Stay at Python=Get confused easily+stuck and not get the concept

Try other easy stuff first=Have some experience and get the concept and try more stuff.

At the programming line I am about here

Try Java... very easy to learn and there's LOT of tutorials all around the web.

C# is also very easy (very similar to Java).
