    Put a shell script in the .app folder, name it "script.sh" or whatever and type the following in:
    #!/bin/sh
    exit

    Make it executable (chmod +x /Applications/EmptyApp.app/script.sh)
    Put the following into the Info.plist (just copy & paste)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>CFBundleDevelopmentRegion</key>
    <string>en</string>
    <key>CFBundleDisplayName</key>
    <string> </string>
    <key>CFBundleExecutable</key>
    <string>script.sh</string>
    <key>CFBundleIconFile</key>
    <string>Icon.png</string>
    <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>
    <string>com.nothing.emptyapp</string>
    <key>CFBundleInfoDictionaryVersion</key>
    <string>6.0</string>
    <key>CFBundleName</key>
    <string> </string>
    <key>CFBundlePackageType</key>
    <string>APPL</string>
    <key>CFBundleSignature</key>
    <string>????</string>
    <key>CFBundleVersion</key>
    <string>1.0</string>
    <key>UIStatusBarHidden</key>
    <true/>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    and remember to have a transparent png as icon. and maybe a black Default.png so that the ugly stretched icon doesn't show up when you open the aoo

    Then, when you tap on the app, it will open and immediately quit.
    BTW, you need to install the BSD Subsystem.

    I have no idea if this will work, but you could try changing the properties for the app in cuteftp pro from 755 or 644, to 0 ... that way you cant read, write or execute...

    its worth a try but ive NEVER tried it so ... yeh
