I recently bought a iPhone 8GB for $100. I want to use it but I think it may be stolen. Is there a way I could find out if it is stolen. And if i put a working AT&T SIM in it would they be able to track it if it was stolen?

I doubt it, you just switch the sim, and they can't tell.

I HIGHLY doubt it. Why? because i bought a NEXTEL phone from my friend once and when i called customer service they asked for the imed (number of phone (not line)) and they said it was reported stolen. But hey that was for sprint/nextel. AT&T and iphone could be totally different. It also depends on if the person the it can possibly be stolen from reported.
