The title explains it. Now the reason that I'm making this thread is because even though Macs are awesome, they become even better with mods. What kind of mods can you guys suggest? I'm interested in:

A Windows Media Center alternative for Leopard (Quicktime Sucks! =P)
    A good video decoder
    An anti virus
    A free Parallels/ VMWare alternative
And other misc stuff that you guys can't live without! Dashboard widgets can be added too.

Media center: Front row (already built in OSX)
Video codecs: Use VLC media player (google it)
Virtualisation/Free vmware: SUN xVM Vitual Box (google it)
You dont need a antivirus on a mac
    Dashbord widgets:
iStat pro (see system temperatures, fan speeds, disk usage, network usage, etc.)
    More widgets here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/

Actually you do need an anti virus. There are some viruses for OSX out there.

The probability of getting a virus is very low for Mac OS X. So you don't need to spend money to buy one.

I don't really know. I just remembered seeing a Norton Antivirus for Mac at an Apple Store yesterday. I was laughing at it thinking how useless it was and how much money Norton was losing on the product.

    *sigh*

OSX doesn't have any deadly viruses.

    The anti-virus is still useful.
