I lost my music application!! Like the icon you click on. The music is still on the ipod btw. As well as my video, pics, and safari apps. The actual video, and vids are still on the ipod. How do I know? I use copytrans (itunes alternative)

I DO NOT want to restore b/c I got too much j/b stuff I'm not willing to lose.

I hear there's something called MMP...can that fix it? If not, HOW? TIA.

    Edit: It's a 3g touch os 4.

    I can't find /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app

I mean I'm not sure how those Apps went away. You obviously must have deleted them and no one here can post a Music.app file for you because we can't post those items that belong to Apple.

Where can I find the restriction thing?

    I did not delete them.

EDIT: No, I have no restrictions. Please help.

Edit 2: And if (and only if) I can't get it back, is there anyway to backup my jailbroken stuff via ssh, and just paste it back after resetting the ipod?

Do you keep them on your dock? Also, did you delete them/ your dock?

You probably will have to restore, and you can use Cyder to back them up, or look up how to online.

Do you mind explaining more about Cyder? Does it save your saves in the apps or do you have to start from the beginning?

Should I use Cyder or Cyder2??
