When I had 3.1.3 jailbroken with spirit I had a custom carrier and battery percentage in SBSettings I also had the Statusbar Free Memory enabled in SBSettings.

Anyway I updated and then restored from backup now in the middle bit were the time should be it says ted is there an anyway to like edit the backup files or do something that doesn't include restoring? I was thinking of maybe downgrading cause I have my SHSH blobs saved then jailbreaking installing SBSettings, disabling status bar free memory backing up updating then restoring from the new backup.

But that is painfull. Can anybody tell me another way.

Oh and happy Jailbreak Day as Jailbreaking has became 100% legal

Its not a good idea to restore from a backup when jumping from big fw updates such as 3.x to 4.x on jailbroken device. Also since you were previously jailbroken you HAD to restore to 4.0 NOT update

    So
    Restore and then jailbreak

    It was never ilegal
It just that the court ruled against apple petition of making it illegal
