My iPod Touch 3G, recently restored for me to sell it once I got my new iPod Touch 4G, doesn't have it. However, before I restored my 3G, I backed up everyone on my 3G to restore onto my 4G and it has the percentage displayed...

My 3G was jailbroken before, but I had updated it once the new firmware came out...

    Should I be worried?

Same thing happened to me and i've heard that if you once had it jailbroken and had the percentile displayed it would transfer over to the new device through the backup. The background I had on my winterboard was also displayed when I turned on my device after I had restored the backup from my older ipod touch.

Worried as in.. this and because I used settings from a once-jailbroken iPod on this NEW iPod?

do a fresh restore if you think you can go without your old data

or wait because a new jailbreak will come out!!

the old settings shouldn't wreck it! maybe add to it even!

Mine shows the percentage too. I assumed it was a new feature in iOS4. But I restored from a backup of a jailbroken iPod that had the percentage thing, so maybe that did carry over somehow. Whatever the cause, I like having it.

Yep, settings in general at the bottom.

Must be for the iPad only
