I just installed memTool and I want to make sure these processes were safe to end.

I am assuming that I shouldnt end the processes that are in red text. Is it safe to end this one called SpringBoard? It is using 29.75MB of my memory! Also what is this mediaserverd, and can i end it?

SpringBoard is the home screen of your device. Ending it will simply cause what is known as a "respring," where SpringBoard ends and then starts up again.

mediaserverd is a system daemon that deals with playing music and movies, and can't be ended by MemTool. Check the "Speed Things Up" link in my signature for information on daemons and how you can manipulate them.
