I just got an Ipod touch?!

    Is jailbreaking the touch really worth it?! What could happen if i mess up?

    Yeah, it's worth it. If you mess up - you reset it and start over...

    use touch free v0.6. Touchfree-setup.exe (its a file with that name or a very similar one

    yeah that simple.

    just follow the ultimate guide, it gives you all the info you need to know

    i suggest reading through the tutorials beforehand to see how much you know...then doing it for real when you know how to do everything (like using ftp, etc.)

    One disadvantage is that if you ever decide to reset, you lose ALL of your stuff. Also, because more information than originally intended is being accessed on the HD, the iPod could heat up a tad more than usual.
