I just cant stand!

    So today simcity rolled out and when I saw a sign about the 2.2 update I was going to crack my touch into pieces.ofcourse the same will be with Nfs.so I decided to update for 2.2 and I am asking people using it is it good idea?and how to recover data after an update?I have 2 itunes libraries,and Ill be updating at that one without music.will be there any problems?

    Yes. You can only sync it from one at a time. Use the library that you sync it with to update with.

    You should update on the one that has all of the stuff you want to put on. You can only sync with one iTunes library so if you update you won't be able to get the music on the other one. The update is pretty good and a lot of apps including sim city require 2.2 so I definitely say you should upgrade.

    lucky you! if you're updating from any other 2.0 fw, all your data stays on ur touch!

    that just means you have to jailbreak again to get all your apps back!
    worked perfectly for me!

    stop gyus stop!I have 2g touch,non jailbroken.All my stuff will back up?and I know that jailbrake will be only after the new year,but it will be only for 2.1.1 firmware-that stops me from upgrading

    Who said it will only be for firmware 2.1.1? Firmware has nothing to do with the Jailbreak.

    You can ALLWAYS downgrade to 2.1.1. Just get the restore file and use alt click on the restore button. Select the restore file and there you go 2.1.1.
