Openssh is not an app. It enables u to sftp into ur iPod and access the files. make sure u put in the correct ip address into cuteftp (on your iPod, go to settings wifi, click the blue arrow next to your wireless Internet connection and use that ip address). Then put in the username as root and the password as alpine.

Edit: services is for disabling/enabling to save battery power and to prevent other people from hacking your iPod

Are you sure that the following are correct?

    1) IP address is correct (Found in settings> Wi-FI> the blue arrow next to your network name)
    2) You are connected to the internet
    3) Your ipod and computer are both connected to the same internet
    4) Username: root
    5) Password: alpine
    6) Port: 22
    7) You have cuteftp set to SSH
