    Is that true?
Because, right now I have 2.2.1, and I want to upgrade to 3.0 as soon as it is not buggy.

Should I wait for full 3.1 release?

3.0 isnt really that buggy, youll survive. although 2.2.1 has more jailbroken compability, and if you dont have any bluetooth headsets, nothing that needs push notification, and in no need of copy and paste, i suggest you wait for 3.1

The WiFi is kind of bad ,but if you have a fast Wireless Router, you should be fine.

It's not that Wi-Fi is worse, it is actually more accurate.

As long as you had some signal before you should be fine. It may not appear as strong but is probably the same as 2.2.1.

It is worse, I heard it was something to do with the fact that the bluetooth antena and the wifi antena are the same thing and that they interfere with each other.

The Wi-Fi signal bar is just more accurate. If you would turn the Bluetooth off it would be the same.

The bars are more accurate. Performance wise, it is terrible compared to 2.2.1.

It seems strange that for a lot of people they regret the 3.0 upgrade. After I upgraded my ipod ran so friggin fast! I can have two apps in background and still be playing music and have like 15-20 MB of RAM. the Wifi works fine, its just more accurate.

There's nothing wrong with WiFi when you upgrade, it just acts a little glitchy. But for whatever reason it kinda grows out of it, and by four or five days it was back to normal for me.

And I get absolutely no performance enhancement, I just get an iPod that likes to hang on everything.
