I have vidoes and music on but do i have to restore my ipod to jailbreak or can i go

    and jailbreak it now with the music and vidoes on. I am using liberty and i want to now will it my my ipod slow or anything if i dont restore?

    restore is the best thing to do to stay away from any kind of errors during the jailbreaking process.

    You can always have Itunes re sync them what the big deal?

    umm... the big deal is that if you have a lot of movies and a bunch of songs, even with USB 2.0 it can take a long time...

    that's what the big deal is....

    I did my iPhone and an ipod without restoring and it worked fine. You still need to follow the guide or you will have issues!

    It only takes me about a hour to move 16 gb of music and videos to a Ipod on a very old pc.

    But yes you may jailbreak without a restore.But if you get tons of error and such restoring may be wise.

    depending on ur firmwere u might b able to do this without restoreing.
