Is it possible to reduce that annoying sound when the cords touch something while they're in your ear? When I'm walking home and the cords touch my shirt, that sound overpowers my music.

Moved to Headphones / Earphones section.

Not sure if you could wear the marshmallows over the ear, but you can definitely use a cable clip to reduce microphonics.

How does it really overpower the music?
    Is it really that loud?
I don't know if this would work, but you could maybe just tape down the cord to your shirt while you walk.

I'm sorry, but this picture just seems so appropriate for the conversation:

Where could I get one of these?

Well I listen to it kinda low. Not really in the safest neighborhood and I need to hear my surroundings. But the walk is super long and I need some distraction lol.

You could try using a clip like Chung said. You might be able to wear the JVCs over your ear, which would reduce the sound.
