    Hi,
Tried to DFU my newish 64gb Touch to get a fresh clean factory setting. but all I get now is the Apple Logo. DFU +++ after that but still only got the Logo. When I plug it into my computer, it does not reconise its there at all. I only bought it from Amazon in March, this year.
    What can I do please.

How are you trying to get it into DFU mode?

    To DFU, you should:
    1. Plug into your PC.
    2. Press and hold Sleep/Wake + Home for 10 seconds.
    3. Release Sleep/Wake, but continue holding Home for another 30 seconds.

If that doesn't work, try on a different PC, or reinstall iTunes. It is impossible to "brick" an iPod Touch.

    Hi Ibiza and Ish,
You two deserve a gold star each. Got home and did what you said and it worked 100%. What I was not doing was plugging it into the computer first.
    many thanks guys.

We see so many threads like this, but DFU always works!

    Two things.

1.) No such thang as a bricked iPod, hommie.
2.) DFU mode always works. It's just a bit tricky to do right. Keep trying.
