I have an iPod problem an I really need help with it!!!

    Until today, my computer that I connect my iPod to had no internet. I connected my iPod, go everything set up and it worked fine. It says that there was an update for my iPod but I could not install it because I had no internet on that computer. Today, we got internet access on that computer, and I plugged my iPod in to install the update. I clicked install and waited. I took longer then I expected, so I disconnected my iPod during the middle of the update. Then it said please connect to iTunes. I did that, and it said it needed to go into recovery mode. I tried this, but the computer said it didn't work. I tried calling Apple about this, but they are closed for the holidays. I really need someone to help me. Tell me if you need more info, and I will try to provide it.
