It may be the weed talking but I have a theory. I've been following comexs twitter a bit an I've noticed that there's a few about the ios4 speed and performance, and he doesn't know what makes it slow, i think maybe they've found a way to make ios4 faster that is included in the jailbreak. Thats why they keep running into issues and having to take longer, and also why they have been doing a lot of testing to make sure it works properly with no flaws. Just a theory.

Perhaps its done, perhaps it isn't. Of course there testing it to make sure it works properly! Who would want a jailbreak that didn't?

I think there making it so multitasking and wallpaper can work on Ipod touch 2g. Like sn0wbreeze does.
    Thats another theory.

iOS4 is just slow on some devices (3G in particular), he's not trying to make it fast. Thats apples job, they're already looking into it. He's testing and testing to make sure any bugs are ironed out and it works fine out of the box.

Well everybody thought it would be released a few days ago..(so I believe from some article...) and it said they had to cancel it because they were having issues on facetime while it was jailbroken.

Mainly I want my iPod to be safe when I jailbreak.I don't want some stupid bug that fries something or causes it to overload.I'm willing to wait for a jailbreak thats safe and reliable.

    Have nothing further.

I completely agree with this. I'd rather have a perfect one that took awhile to make than a buggy one that they released before making sure it was good to go.

Me too. A bad jailbreak may cause issues that are far more damaging with wider ramifications than a later jailbreak release.
