So i just recently got my 8 g ipod touch 2nd G and i was wondering if at this time it was worth jailbreaking it?

I jailbroke my first gen ipod touch when i had it years ago but its been so long since i have been in the ''loop'' im not sure if things have changed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Nope, no more ipwn. Use QuickPwn or Pwnage tool. Pwnage tool requires a restore; QuickPwn does not.

I'd try out redTool first, it's more stable.
If redTool doesn't work for you, go with QuickFreedom, although it's more buggy...
