Well, yesterday I got my first iPod and I'm stoked. I named it Gefferie xD

Anyway, my sister got me an iPod speaker/clock/charger, so I put up there every night from extensive iPod use.

My question is, will my battery die from doing that? I heard the if you charge it everyday te lithium battery will die relatively quickly...And I don't want it to die (duh)

So, does doing that kill it?

**And tips on how to keep the battery life good and perky would be great too. =]

    Thanks,
    Kassie <3

i don;t know if your battery will die beacause of it, but i can tell you turn off ssh and wifi when not in use tht can reduce battery consumption. and also you can charge your ipod even via a printer, anything with a powered usb port will work.

    I don't think that's true.
There's rumors of it, but of course it's powered on Lithium, I doubt it'll die quicker.
I own a Wii, and the Wiimotes are powered by Lithium. I charge them for over 10 hours ever day, and have been for over a year now. I charge my iPod every day aswell, for a long portion of the day and I notice no difference at all.
My answer is no, it won't die quicker

But, I could be wrong. (I don't think I am though.)
