I have a computer virus!!!

    And I'm on FEDORA!!!!

    It's making my laptop shut off randomly, making me go to random websites like ww w.|.co m, ww w.AST.co m, and now, ww w.***ing.co m

    That's what it showed in the bar exactly. without the spaces.

    Any good virus programs?

    Theoretically it should be very hard for viruses to work on linux. Got a few questions for you:

    1) Running latest Fedora?
    2) Are you running as an administrator?
    3) Tried creating another user account and seeing if it affects that?

    Oh, and when did they come up for viruses for LINUX?? also are all linux applications universal to various distrobutions? like i can install the same app on ubuntu, fedora and mint?
