For the last few weeks my home buttons been slightly broken, and its been impossible to go into restore mode because the button dosnt work fully - i need to press it 6 or 7 times to close an app.
I ran Pwnage, i was REALLY, REALLY excited, cos this seemed like an incredible idea, and then bam!

    2008-04-04 18:36:11 - Successfully started "pwning" on your iPhone/iPod.

wooo! Pwnage told me to wait for the iPod to reboot (so i did) and then i hit ok.

I see the Pwnapple on my iPoT. WOOOOO AWESOME!!!.

I wait for the slide to unlock screen to come - but it dosn't. The SWOD (spinning wheel of death) Appears underneath my pwnapple, stays there for about 2 seconds, and then the screen flashes white for less than a second, and the process starts over again.
I've tried using Ziphone to put my iPod back into recovery mode and it dosn't work, and also iTunes wont recognise it.

Please, don't say, JUST HOLD THE BUTTONS! or watev, because i CANT. If you want, i will uload a video to youtube, but PLEASE, i really want my iPoT back.

    Any suggestions?

YOU CAN HOLD THE BUTTONS TO TURN OFF

It just takes a bit longer. Be patient. I've done it several times already.

Just keep on trying everything possible like Use Different Firmwares, use a diff computer.

And iTunes 7.5 try all that.

you know another guy who used pwnage legitimately bricked his iPod (in my opinion) because it wont turn on, and no recognition no ssh and no recovery mode

Question... before Pwning your iPod, did you put it in RESTORE mode of DFU mode? Because Pwnage Tool specifically tells you to put the iPod in RESTORE mode and no, they're not the same thing.

I put mine in Restore mode before pwning and it worked. Maybe you had it in DFU. Have you tried Re-pwning yet... even though the computer doesn't see it, Pwnage may see it.
