Is there some way I can put music onto my iPod Touch WITHOUT using iTunes? I used xPlay on my second generation iPod, and it was simple and worked great. I bought an iPod Touch, and xPlay doesn't support it. So I am stuck with this complicated, more drag than drop software called iTunes. Yes, Windows.

I'm confused... Do you not want drag and drop? Or... You want it?

There are wireless syncing apps on Installer last time I checked, but I heard it takes forever...

Yes I would like drag and drop(I was trying to say iTunes is a drag). What I would really like is a completely stripped down version of iTunes, with nothing included except the dragging and dropping of music to my iPod, like xPlay. The main reason I don't like iTunes is, it has far too much stuff included, that I will never use. For me, it is basically bloatware.

I want something like Anapod for the touch.
Really wish Red Chair would hurry and get a new version out.

I like to manually manage my iPod, so I don't like to use Libraries and such.
Just drag the music into the iPod and go.
I make all my playlists directly on the iPod, organize it all nice and make sure I put some artwork in for each thing.

Mostly what I dislike about iTunes is that you cannot copy your files back OFF of the iPod.

Yah this a very common complaint with people who don't own ipods. They can't seem to understand that once the music is on the ipod, you can't share it with others. I'm sure with time there'll be a work around for this.

On a side note; what do the people with linux and ipots do?
